DMM: Digital Molecular Matter

Digital molecular matter is a next generation revolution in FX industry which is based on FEA (Finite Element Analysis).FEA was introduced in 1940’s and developed further in 1960’s and 70’s .The FEA was used to detect the defects of Nuclear plant and gas pipelines. FEA is used to detect the change in the material properties under stress and strain. This technology was implemented in CGI by Pixelux Entertainment. The idea of this technology was considered by M.P.C, also and was used in their pipeline with Project “KALI”.

The DMM stands beyond above in comparison to traditional RBD(Rigid Body Dynamics). The RBD can control the simulations with limited number of ways, where DMM has 100s of degrees of freedom. The eminency which DMM holds is its flexibility of changing physical material properties from jelly to concrete.

The DMM also holds real world physical materials and attributes like Young’s modulus, Friction, Gravity, Poisson values...Etc.
The DMM has a unique mesh called “TET”Mesh which is different from a polygonal mesh; in this case the Tetrahedral is connected to each other with vertices, edges and faces and entirely dense from inside. The simulation of mesh takes place in manner like, a low resolution is encapsulating the high resize output surface mesh and drives the output mesh.Ini actual it’s the simulated mesh which do all the simulations and dynamics from the input received from DMM simulator.

The DMM is way fast and predictable and now a day’s a lot of software’s are also supporting the FEA.

Holi Celebration

Holi celebration takes place with lot of joy and verve throughout the country. The enthusiasm of the people reaches its peak and matches with the nature which is in full bounty at the time of Holi. Holi is being celebrated in Indian since time immemorial but the popularity of Holi celebrations seems to be rising with every passing year and so is the level of hoo-ha. As no other festival gives so much liberty to the people to let their hair loose and enjoy their hidden crazy self. Differences of any sort are drowned in the coloured waters of Holi and people just enjoy being a play animal. To further enhance the festive spirit of Holi celebrations we have a social sanction to get a kick with the tradition of bhang. Then there is total wildness as people dance to the rhythm of dholak and sing traditional folk songs in loudest possible pitch. Children particularly enjoy the festival as they throw water filled balloons at passersby...and if anybody stares. They have ready answer, 'Bura na mano Holi hai....’ and evoke a smile on the irritated face. Besides, they have their water missiles, called pichkaris to drench the person from far and escape further drenching.
On this special occasion MAAC Preet Vihar organized Dancing, Singing, best dressing and Rangoli competition. More than 100 students had participated in this competition and awarded as 3rd runner up, 2nd  runner up and first prize. The faculty, staff and students of MAAC Preet Vihar enjoyed the blissful festival of colors. "Holi" was celebrated at the centre by the students and the members of MAAC Preet Vihar. Everyone enjoyed the spirit of holi.Wishing you all a very happy holi

Gaming Session by Mr.Praveen Natrajan

Hi All this time we have bring you with an opportunity to not only play but also learn the art of making  AAA game .The gaming  Industry is flourishing  like anything and its one of the most demanding career of today’s time. We at MAAC Preet Vihar is highly focused towards the career of our students and that’s why we have a chance to Call professional Person Mr .Natrajan who is serving his talented skills and techniques to industry renowned company.

Exigent Game Art which is the one of the most demanding company when it comes to deliver the 3D graphics Art for “AAA” standard games.

Mr.Natrajan is working on next gen level games like Arkham City and Arkham origins and many more, which is for some reasons we have kept confidential Our students got chance to attend his session  and also have one –on –one question and answers .The session was very exciting as our students  got the chance to explore industry best tools and techniques ,latest software usages and adaptations of plug gins  knowledge. We all indeed appreciate the techniques we got to know from Mr.Natrajan for his precise knowledge and kind feedbacks.

We do have a lot of discussion with Mr.Natrajan and also got the chance to know his struggle and roads of learning, which throws an impact on students and also helps them in inspiring and learning from an industry Expert Mr. Natrajan also wishes students for their future Endeavour’s

At the end of session, students who are on their verge of completion course were allowed to share their specific work and software files.  with Mr.Natrajan to have in-depth knowledge of  industry demands as they are to be appear for next level of work.

Animation Layers

Animation Layers

Animation layers let you create and blend multiple levels of animation in a scene .Modify animation without overwriting original curves in Animation Layers. Change specific elements of your scene without affecting others. Organize layers by parenting them to one another. Working with layers in animation and graphics software lets you composite your scenes in a way that doesn't require fitting everything together perfectly in each frame; you can use layers to give you more freedom in editing, and also to keep from merging objects together on one frame when you need them to be separate in others.

Breakdown Keys

Breakdowns are special keys that maintain proportional time relationships with adjacent keys. Use Breakdowns to adjust the timing of an animation while holding attribute values at points on the animation curve. Breakdowns are green ticks on the Time Slider and green points in the Graph Editor. Breakdowns that do not have adjacent keys are unbounded. These works like regular keys when you place, edit, and move them Breakdowns have editable tangents. When one or more Breakdowns are bounded by regular keys, the Breakdowns modify their position in time to reflect any changes to the time positions of the regular, bounding, keys. For more information, see Set Breakdowns.
